Team 1- Bulgaria has arrived in Lovech...Finally!
From Amy Bissette: "We arrived after 1:00 AM and then made a claim for 3 lost bags. Pray that they all arrive. One's mine. The others - Carley and April. I hope this means (from my fingertips to God's ear) that the second team will just have smooth sailing because we have had one thing after another. Team is in great spirits - we slept in a little and will begin work this afternoon (just 1/2 half day off task)."

Almost 7:00 AM here and we should all be up at our prospective houses getting ready to arrive at the worksite for breakfast, devotions and some more hard work with the concrete. The men worked in the concrete yesterday afternoon after what we are calling a 'Concrete' emergency. The building engineer didn't know we arrived late and concrete was poured early and hardening up - they called for help and the men rushed out to move the concrete around and were able to save most. This morning we should be back on schedule.
Two bags (of three) have been reported found and should be delivered this morning - let's pray that my (yes, mine) bag will be delivered miraculously along with it. We will work all day with three of our group going to the Soup Kitchen to eat lunch with the group of elderly Bulgarians and share testimonies and lead the bible study - Mark 6:30-56. Tonight, we will go to home groups (bible studies).
We are staying at different homes around the city - which is a litte different from our Dominican mission teams. After dinner of pizza and shopska salad we returned to our host homes. It was heartwarming to see the young boy of Mike's host home come running out to greet him last night as we dropped him off and they walked arm in arm back up to the apartment.

great news!!! All three bags arrived today! Thank you all for praying!!! We're all CLEAN with FRESH NEW CLOTHES on!!! Oh the things we take for granted these days!
We got to shovel a lot of concrete today, which was sweet. Some went to a soup kitchen. It was an overall very good and very blessed day. Team 2 you better be ready for some good times and amazing blessings!!!!
All of our bags arrived today!!!! So we're all CLEAN and wearing CLEAN CLOTHES! Praise the Lord!!!

Hey April - Thanks for an update. Glad to hear the bags arrived. Team 2 meets Thursday and praying we dont have the travel issues you guys had...but if we do, we can work through them like yall did. How are the other Host families? Eveyone bonding as well as we hear Mike is? Are you finding it easy to communicate through the language barrier?
