Bulgarian Orphanage

Today, we had the opportunity to visit one of the orphanages. The first picture was when the lady in the vest is performing a puppet show with some of the children participating. The message of the story was the elephant was so large that the other small animals did not want to play with him. When the small animals bought a T.V. they could not watch it because they could not put the antenna up high, but the elephant could. So they became friends.

After the show we were did a little craft with crosses and then gave them toys and some fruit and then played inside and outside with them for awhile. We were not able to share the meaning of the crosses this time - but hope over time the director of the orphanage will be receptive to this.

I hope that you all are soon able to share the meaning of the cross with those children. It is heartwarming to know that they have a cross now. Looks like ya'll have been very busy!
